Penny Hardaway played for the Phoenix Suns from 1999 to 2004. He joined the team as part of a trade with the Orlando Magic, where he had spent the early part of his career. During his time with the Suns, Hardaway played alongside future Hall of Famers Steve Nash and Amar'e Stoudemire. He helped lead the team to the playoffs in 2000 and 2001, but the Suns were unable to advance past the second round. Hardaway's time with the Suns was marred by injuries, and he was traded to the New York Knicks in 2004. Despite his abbreviated tenure, he is still remembered fondly by Suns fans for his flashy style of play and dynamic talent on the court.
